We all step into the past when visiting Squires & Corrie, but who expects that to bring us back to old fashioned personal service? What a surprise it was to speak directly with Steve, who actually prefers direct conversation over the somewhat impersonal modern day email. And although one hopes to make a purchase, who of us looking to do that actually expect to also make a friend? But I sure did. I needed a hard to find part for my 1930 Callie Superior Slot, and after looking high and low for it without success, Steve came to my rescue. He even shocked me by telling me he had the part on one of his machines... then, in place of telling me I could buy the machine, remove the part I needed and then sell the machine, he actually removed the part I needed and sold me just that (at a very fair price as well). When I expressed my surprise he\'d do that, he replied, \"I am in the parts business, so if I have it I will sell it.\" S&Q and Steve should be the first place to look for what a person wants because I am sure it will also be the last place to look because if Steve doesn\'t have it I am confident that nobody does.
