This message is long overdue, but in my search of hard to find parts, knowledgeable sales people, the folks at Squires & Corrie were the answer to my needs.
Recently restoring an old Jennings “Little Duke” built sometime in the late 20’s or early 30’s I found myself thinking I would need to fabricate a few broken parts. When the Antique Slot and Coin show came to the Chicago area I decided to try and see if maybe someone had a lead on older parts or a donor machine.
After being told by no fewer then three so-called “parts dealers” that what I wanted or needed was no longer available, I just started walking the show looking at other items.

At this point I happened to see “another parts” dealer that I had not visited earlier. I showed the pictures to two gentlemen of what I needed and at that point an avalanche of information of what I had, what I needed and what they could do came forth. I left my contact information with the table with the hopes that when they arrived back in California I would get a call with the availability and price…yea sure they would call me. BUT THEY DID CALL ME!
The two parts I needed were found, a price discussed and payment sent. I collect and run Lionel trains and getting parts from the early 30’s is not easy. I could not believe my good fortune that I had come across the Squires & Corrie and in a few short days had new/old stock parts in my hand.

I am not a slot machine restorer, but if in the future I need more parts Squires & Corrie will be the first and most likely only call I make and I think anyone else in my position will best advised to make the same decision.
I don’t normally do “testimonial” postings as I expect all business should be handled as was done here, but all to often, they only news we hear is about the bad transactions. Its nice to see a guy tell me what he will do, and then actually do what he said he was going to do.
